ICD-10-CM MS-DRG Grouper

1. The MS-DRG Grouper tool is built on Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) rules for inpatient Facility coding/reimbursement.

2. The MS-DRG Grouper tool is located under the 'Coding Tools' Tab        

 

3. Enter an ICD-10-CM principal diagnosis code, as well as any ICD-10-CM secondary diagnosis codes, and procedure codes, in the boxes below. Click the “Add More” links to bring up additional boxes.       
 

4. The tool also includes an integrated DRG Payment Calculator - the default payment        
will be the National Unadjusted rate, but users can enter the Name or Hospital        
Provider Number/CCN to see the payment calculation calibrated for any hospital in        
the USA. Break up blocks of text (a good rule is to limit paragraphs to 3-5 lines)
