    Introducing Revenue Cycle Insider:

    On October 8 2024, all AAPC newsletters will be transitioned to a new product called Revenue Cycle Insider. This update is designed to provide subscribers with up-to-date, comprehensive content to help them stay ahead in the healthcare industry. As existing AAPC newsletter subscribers, users will have access to a wide range of performance-boosting articles and techniques at no additional cost.

    This guide will walk you through what to expect with this transition and how your team can maximize the benefits of Revenue Cycle Insider.

    Revenue Cycle Insider provides full access to a library of revenue-boosting tips and techniques, helping you stay ahead in revenue cycle management. No longer limited to just your specialty, you’ll get everything for the same price! Its practical, easy-to-read format ensures you can quickly implement coding strategies, regulatory guidance, and more in your practice.

    Key Features of Revenue Cycle Insider:

    • Unlimited Access: Subscribers will have unlimited access to a full library of relevant, expert-curated content designed to enhance performance and keep them informed of industry changes.
    • Wide Range of Topics: Articles will cover specialty-specific coding, compliance, practice management, healthcare technology, regulatory changes, and more.
    • CEUs: Earn up to 6 AAPC Continuing Education Units (CEUs) per year by completing monthly quizzes based on newly published content.
    • Industry News and Updates: Stay updated with industry trends, including MAC and RAC activities, OIG Work Plan, Medicare Physician Fee Schedule updates, and more.
    • Real-World Scenarios: Articles will include practical solutions and insights provided by subject matter experts on real-world healthcare challenges.
    • Access to Archived Content: Subscribers can still access the full archive of articles from their previous newsletters.

     

    Important Changes

    1. Accessing Content

    • How to Access: Subscribers will continue to access articles via their Codify by AAPC login.
    • No More Print Layout: Content will no longer be in a print-style layout. Instead, individual articles will be accessible, making searches easier.
    • Organization: Articles will be organized by month and labeled by topic (e.g., specialty-specific coding, compliance), rather than by newsletter name, reducing the number of clicks needed to find information.

     

    2. Expanded Content Access

    • Subscribers will have access to all published content, not just articles related to their original newsletter title. This means they can explore more areas and topics than before.

     

    3. More Frequent Updates

    • New content will be available weekly or even daily, offering subscribers timely insights on the latest healthcare developments. This is an improvement over the previous model, which provided new content only once or twice per month.

    4. CEU Quizzes

    • Monthly CEU quizzes will continue to be available, allowing subscribers to earn up to 6 CEUs per year. These quizzes will now include questions from all content added throughout the month.

     

    Transition Timeline

    • September: The last issue in the old format will be available in September.
    • October 1: The new format will be launched, and content will begin to transition.
    • Mid-October: The new topic-based format will be fully integrated into Codify.

     

    No Additional Cost

    This transition comes at no additional cost for existing AAPC newsletter subscribers. AAPC will automatically convert the current newsletter subscription to a Revenue Cycle Insider subscription for the remainder of the subscription period.

    The Revenue Cycle Insider Subscription Library is a comprehensive online resource that consolidates all our individual eNewsletters into one easy-to-access subscription. This library covers all aspects of revenue cycle management in the healthcare industry, providing valuable insights and information in one place.

     
     

    My eNewsletter subscription is still active what will happen to my existing subscription?

    We will ensure your old subscription does not auto-renew, and you will only renew under the new Revenue Cycle Insider product. The new subscription will be added with the same dates as your existing newsletter. You’ll still have access to view the “retired” newsletter articles. When your current license ends, you'll be charged the new product price, and your license assignments will stay the same as you renew under the new product.

     
     

    How do I access the retired eNewsletter content?

    Subscribers to the Revenue Cycle Insider will have access to all retired newsletter content. This ensures that you can continue to reference and benefit from previously published material.

     
     

    Can I still view content specific to my specialty?

    Absolutely! While we don't offer specialty-specific subscriptions, we have built a robust filter option within the subscription library. This feature allows you to filter articles based on your specialty, making it easier to find content tailored to your interests.

     
     

    How can I earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs)?

    We are proud to offer 6 CEUs annually through the Revenue Cycle Insider Subscription Library. At the end of each month, a quiz will be made available with questions related to the articles published in that month. Successfully completing these quizzes will earn you CEUs, keeping your education and credentials up-to-date.

     
     

    Is the Revenue Cycle Insider only available online?

    Yes, the Revenue Cycle Insider is an exclusively online resource. However, individual articles can be printed or saved in PDF format, giving you flexibility in how you access and use our content.
