Understanding the Updated Basic Report in Practicode
What Changed?
Practicode previously had three separate reports for reviewing coding data: the Basic report, the Coder's Notes report, and the Post-Coded Notes report. Those three reports have now been consolidated into one because they contained the same information. You'll find everything in the Basic report, with a new filter that lets you control exactly what you see.
How the Filter Works
Inside the Basic report, you'll now see a filter option that lets you choose which notes to display or hide. Rather than the report loading everything at once, you decide what's relevant and surface only that. This keeps the report fast and avoids any slowdown regardless of how much data is behind it.
Why This Matters
Before this change, finding specific information meant jumping between three different reports, which added unnecessary time to your workflow. Now everything is in one place, and you control the view. Whether you're reviewing a coder's notes, post-coded notes, or basic case data, you're doing it without leaving the report or losing your place.
What You Need to Know
- The Coder's Notes and Post-Coded Notes reports are no longer separate. Look for that data inside the Basic report going forward.
- Use the filter to toggle notes on or off depending on what you need at that moment.
