    Shared Articles & Shared Favorite Codes

     

     

    Shared Articles and Shared Favorite Codes allow Codify users within the same organization to collaborate by sharing commonly referenced articles and codes across their team.

    These features are designed to help organizations:

    Standardize coding guidance and frequently used codes

    Reduce duplicate research across teams

    Align users on shared references and best practices


    Availability & Eligibility

    Shared Articles and Shared Favorite Codes are only available to users who:

    Are on a business Codify license, and

    Are part of an organization in Codify

    ❗ Important:
    Individual Codify users will not see:

    • Share icons
    • Shared Articles or Shared Codes tabs
    • Any organization-level shared content

    Shared Articles

    What Are Shared Articles?

    Shared Articles allow users to share favorited articles with everyone in their organization.

    When an article is shared:

    • It becomes visible to all eligible users in the organization
    • It appears under a dedicated Shared Articles tab
    • It helps teams align on authoritative guidance and reference material

    How to Share an Article

    Open Favorites from the left-hand navigation

    Select Favorite Articles

    Locate an article you’ve added to your favorites

    Click the Share icon next to the article

    Once selected, the article is shared across your organization.


    Viewing Shared Articles

    To view articles shared by your organization:

    Open My Codify Tab → Favorite Articles

    Select the Shared Articles tab

    All articles shared by users in your organization will appear here.


    Shared Favorite Codes

    What Are Shared Favorite Codes?

    Shared Favorite Codes allow organizations to share commonly used CPT®, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes across teams.

    This helps teams:

    • Maintain consistent code usage
    • Quickly access high-frequency or critical codes
    • Align billing, auditing, and compliance workflows

    How to Share a Favorite Code

    Click My Codify in the top-right corner of Codify

    Select Favorite Codes

    In the Favorite Codes dashboard, locate a code you’ve added to your favorites

    Click the Share icon next to the code

    The code is now added to your organization’s Shared Favorite Codes list.


    Viewing Shared Favorite Codes

    To view shared codes:

    Go to My Codify → Favorite Codes

    Select the Shared Codes tab

    All codes shared by your organization will appear here for quick reference.


    Who Can See Shared Content?

    Only users within the same organization can view shared articles and shared favorite codes

    Only users on a business license will see:

    • Share icons
    • Shared Articles tab
    • Shared Codes tab

    Individual users will not have access to these features


    Frequently Asked Questions

    Who can use Shared Articles and Shared Favorite Codes?
    Only users who are part of an organization and on a business Codify license.

    Where do I find Shared Articles?
    Go to My Codify → Favorite Articles → Shared Articles.

    Where do I find Shared Favorite Codes?
    Go to My Codify → Favorite Codes → Shared Codes.

    Will individual users see the Share icon or Shared tabs?
    No. These features are not included with individual Codify subscriptions.

    Do shared items sync automatically?
    Yes. Shared articles and codes are immediately visible to all eligible users in the organization.

    Do shared items expire?
    No. Shared content remains available until it is unshared or removed.
